This is ‘Logol’ … Halftail’s Powerful Coalition – Latest Sightings

We bring you this weekend’s latest sightings from Masai Mara. Sightings by Felix Rome, a resident photographer at Governors Camp.
Today’s sighting is for Logol, a lion king born and reigning in Masai Mara. This is ‘Logol’ … Halftail’s powerful coalition partner and together they control the iconic Musiara Marsh Territory and its resident pride of lions.

Both males were born in 2015 and at seven years old, they have reached their prime; this is the strongest, most aggressive phase of their life. This is also a time when their mane looks the most impressive!
When the Bila Shaka males abandoned the Marsh Pride in favor of the Mara Triangle, Logol and Halftail took over.
So far these two males have successfully defended their territory against rival males – and most importantly, protected the Marsh Pride cubs – ensuring the survival of their very own dynasties.
